We all know I love books.
So when I got the chance to review this one, I got really excited. Cecelia Ahern is the amazing woman who wrote books such as P.S. I Love You, Love Rosie and Samantha Who?
As a lover of P.S. I Love You, I had to be able to review this book! This is part two, of a series, but it is definitely the kind of book you can read with no prior knowledge of the series itself.
The blurb from Goodreads is;
“Celestine North lives in a society that demands perfection. After she was branded Flawed by a morality court, Celestine’s life has completely fractured–all her freedoms gone. Since Judge Crevan has declared her the number one threat to the public, she has been a ghost, on the run with Carrick–the only person she can trust. But Celestine has a secret–one that could bring the entire Flawed system crumbling to the ground. A secret that has already caused countless people to go missing. Judge Crevan is gaining the upper hand, and time is running out for Celestine. With tensions building, Celestine must make a choice: save just herself or to risk her life to save all Flawed people. And, most important of all, can she prove that to be human in itself is to be Flawed?” (Source)
I don’t want to ruin this book for anyone else who may go onto read it, so I will keep this very brief, as I don’t want to spoil what is an amazing book!
This book focuses on the life of Celestine. A girl who is currently branded an outcast in her society. I loved this, as its really easy to relate to as someone who felt they never got the chance to fit in with her life. I felt I really related to Celestine the whole way through this book!
This book had me feeling so many different emotions! Some had me in tears, others had be scared and others made me extremely happy! It really is an emotional roller coaster!
There’s also a bit of romance thrown in, which is a must for all the books I love!
If you like books like Divergent, or other Dystopian style Young Adult books, I can promise you, you’ll love this book so so much!
Have you read this book or the first book in the series?
