Younique Detox Mask | Review

I love myself a good pamper!

I try to have at least one pamper day a week to keep myself sane! Since I joined Younique I’ve been obsessed with the skin care range, especially the mask.

I’ve been wanting to do a review on this product for a good while, and now I’m finally getting around to it!

This mask is made up with activated charcoal. This removes impurities and clears skin from the first application.

Before using this, I always cleanse first. Personally I use either Younique Pore Purifying cleanser, or the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser. I adore both of these, and tend to swap between them, but I’ll chat more about them later!

I then apply the mask to my skin while its still damp (which is instructed on the mask’s tub!) using an old foundation brush. I use one of the flat ones, that are used more so for liquid foundations.

I use this as it means it won’t activate it, before it hits my skin.

Once its on, you can feel it bubble up. I adore this as you can feel it starting to work.

It starts as a black mask, and then goes grey as it bubbles.

I then leave it on for 5 – 10 minutes.

After this, I wash it off using a face cloth. Once its off, I tone with either Rose Water, or a spray I got in a Glossy Box a year ago (but I don’t know its name!) and follow with a Garnier moisturiser (the wake me up one).

Every time I do this mask, I get the softest skin!

I am obsessed with this mask and it leaves my skin looking amazing!

I wish  I had a before and after for this!

(I will add one to the post after my next one!)

What’s your favourite face mask?

Let me know in the comments!

Love, Bronagh
