Today I have a very exciting post!
I recently took part in a makeup swap with a few other bloggers which was set up by Mary over at Pretty on a Dime!
The idea was that a bunch of beauty bloggers would swap boxes with makeup they loved inside. We all got paired randomly and sent off our boxes, and now it’s time to reveal them!
Who doesn’t love a good foundation? Personally, it’s one of the first items I add to my make-up bag.
I’d always wanted to try an Urban Decay foundation, and after searching through reviews for what felt like forever, I decided to get the all-nighter foundation. I have a love of full coverage, or high coverage, products so it felt like the perfect match.
I ordered it online, so my main fear was the shade match not being right. I personally purchased the shade 0.5. I went for this as I have very pale skin, with slightly pink undertones and I tend to be the lightest shade in everything. I also used this website to try and get a match using brands I knew.
I don’t know about you guys, but I am OBSESSED with Halloween! It is literally up there as one of my favourite holidays (with Christmas being first of course!) So when Seventeen Cosmetics wanted Bloggers to do a Halloween look using their products, I became insanely excited!
Today I fancied doing a skin care post, and what could be better than reviewing my current day cream! I’ve been using this for what feels like ages now, so I figured it must be worth a few words!
I originally got this on a whim! I had no intentions of actually buying a cream, until I saw it was on offer with another product I already used. It was something like a buy two products and get a bottle free deal. I really only bought it for the bottle!
I’m back! Miss me?
Today I thought I’d start off my talking through one of my recent makeup looks!
I’ve been trying lots of different looks recently, mostly because all of my looks seem to include a red lip, and basic eyes. Now I want to leave that part of my comfort zone and try new things. I’m not thinking smokey eye just yet, but a new lip colour now and again won’t go a miss.
