This will be the first of many posts like this.
I’m still deciding if I want to make these bi-weekly or monthly posts (I think I may settle on monthly), but they will become much more often! This post is very anti-climatic, but it’s still important that I make the effort to post about this, even if I’ve not made any changes that particular month.
I started being more accountable for my weight-loss in this post. I feel like if I make the choice to talk about something like this here, at least I’ll have all of you guys reminding me to post about it, or even pushing me forward with it.
In this post, I want to touch more on the goals I have for my journey.
So I want to set up 3 types of goals;
So today I want to set each of those, on paper (well screen) so I can’t ignore them. The only thing I will add is, I currently don’t own a scale. I’ll touch on why further down the post, but I will be purchasing one.
So lets begin!
I have two ultimate goals;
1 – Reach a BMI of 20-25. For my height this means weighing around the 10 stone mark. (For reference, I’m 5’2.5″ or 5’3″ for the sake of rounding.)
2 – Be approved by surgeons to have my gallbladder removed! This is my main motivation for loosing weight, so of course it is the ultimate goal!
These are much harder to set. Mainly because I know to reach my “ultimate goal” and the surgeon approved weight, I need to loose half of my body weight (and a little bit more!) Realistically, I need to loose 10 stone, to do this healthily, I will need to look at a time scale of 5 years (2 stone per year) or longer.
1 – Loose 2 stone per year
2 – Do a wardrobe clear out
These were my easiest to write, as i know what progress I want to make each month.
1 – Record 5/7 days food each week
2 – Take progress pictures
3 – Do a monthly weigh-in
4 – Take Measurements
So there are all of my goals. Now for the hardest part – to make any progress, I obviously need to have a plan. So my plan for the next month is – Juice Plus. I bought the shakes a while back, and they’re just gathering dust, so I plan to use them properly, alongside the plan, for at least 1 month, possibly two, depending on how long they last. Once these end, I’ll be following the Slimming World plan from home, mostly because of my work schedule.
