Younique Mineral Touch Foundation | Review

As you know, I recently joined Younique.

One of the things I’ve wanted to do, is let you guys know my honest opinions on all of the products and show you looks I’m able to create using them.

Today we’re talking foundation. The Younique liquid to powder mineral touch foundation. The formula is meant to last all day, not go cakey and not have a huge amount of transfer. As always I’ve been sceptical, but here I am telling you my honest thoughts.

Formula and Coverage

So the idea of this is that it goes on as a liquid and sets as a powder. It sounds super complicated, but it works really well. I’ve never been a powder foundation fan, but this isn’t like a powder foundation.

I’ve only ever found powder bases to be light coverage, but this keeps its liquid formula, and has a very high coverage. It also glides on, and I only use about three drops to cover my entire face, or four if I’ve had a bad skin day.

It’s also cruelty free! A huge plus if you are looking for a product where no harm was caused.

Stay Time

Ok, so this is the biggest bit for me. I work from 9 – 5 and on Mondays and Tuesdays I go to a night class from 6 – 9. This means I’m out from 8 – 9:30 / 10. I need something that will last and not start to cake or go patchy.

I feel like the picture speaks for itself. Over 12 hours wear, and its not caked or hugely patchy. I spent the day sweating, touching my face and being hugely confused in my class, and still it stayed on.

Final Thoughts

I love this product. I’m not saying this as someone who wants to sell it either. I was very unsure of it when I first heard of it. I didn’t think the coverage could be so good. I’m not wearing any concealer in any of these pictures either! None!

I wear the shade “Scarlet”, which is pale with warm / pink undertones. There are so many shades available that there is something for everyone! Want to buy it? Then please check out this link!
